About Us

Cowesett Animal Hospital was founded in 1990 with the goal of providing personal, thorough, compassionate care and treating each pet as a unique individual.  The staff at Cowesett Animal Hospital is a group of caring, competent, people who fully embrace our mission statement. They care for your pet as if it was their own and understand what it is like when a family pet is ill. They are fully trained to provide information and resources to maintain your pet's health.

In October 2018, Dr. Beth Labriola joined the Cowesett Animal Hospital team. Dr. Labriola graduated from the University at Buffalo in 2002 and received her DVM degree from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Dr. Labriola's professional interests include soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and ultrasound imaging.  She shares her home with her family, their Scottie dog, Angus, and 3 kitties - Oliver, Nero, and Cleopatra.

Dr. Korry graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1981 and received her DVM degree from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. She has served the Rhode Island Veterinary Medical Association in various capacities and was most recently the Director of Continuing Education. Dr. Korry's professional interests include internal medicine, dermatology, soft tissue surgery and preventive dental care. Her interest in animal behavior grew from her adoption of Pasha, a shelter puppy with severe anxiety. As she explored the causes and solutions for animals with behavior problems that affect their lives and the lives of the people they live with, she has become a strong proponent of positive training methods. Our doctors are proud to support the Rhode Island Companion Animal Foundation, a unique organization founded by the veterinarians in Rhode Island and dedicated to providing financial support for veterinary care for animals whose owners have financial need. The doctors and their generous and talented staff support the Pets and Vets program, which provides field trips for middle school students from around the state. The Cowesett Animal Hospital staff also mentors Warwick area High School seniors completing their Senior Projects.
